We’re proud to be part of the team behind Ridge Farm — a contemporary new-build home that thoughtfully integrates into its rural, agricultural setting. Designed with environmental impact at its core, the project combines modern architecture with a deep respect for the site’s heritage.

Our structural team is providing a low-carbon, circular design, using Revit and embodied carbon tools to ensure a coordinated and environmentally responsible solution. With over 1150m² of gross external floor area, the structure has been carefully developed to minimise environmental impact. The roof is predominantly timber, and where steel is required for longer spans or specific performance, it will be sourced — wherever possible — from reclaimed stock.

A key architectural highlight is the striking ‘floating plough’ roof of the central living space which, alongside the curved green sedum roofs of the side wings, creates a modern interpretation of the ridge-and-furrow landscape, bringing a visually dynamic and environmentally responsive design to life.

Ridge Farm redefines what sustainable rural living can look like!
