20-24 Queen Street is being refurbished to accommodate a new commercial tenant.  The works include the replacement of an entire stair core within the existing concrete frame, in order to increase lettable floor area.

Jensen Hunt Design has undertaken the complex design of the inserted core framework, which is introduces new efficient stair flights and landings whilst supporting cut slab edges and maintaining overall building stability.
