This Grade II listed commercial building in central London was completely refurbished, extended to the rear and a new roof and plant enclosure added.

 

Jensen Hunt Design undertook an in-depth research of the the existing building to mitigate risks during the construction, this helped to eliminate unforeseen issues with the structural elements and helped to maximise efficient structural design which was then confirmed during the construction phase.

 

The double storey extension to the rear was carefully designed to mitigate potential risks related to the party wall process and also to ensure sign off with Grosvenor Estates.
