James is a co-founder and a passionate advocate for positive change, for the planet and for people. James leads the environmental impact and innovation area of the company and firmly believes that the biggest impacts are made through collaboration and a philosophy of seeing only solutions and not barriers. Whether it’s through innovative carbon tracking software development or developing no-concrete building solutions James looks to use his platform to accelerate change.

As co-founder, Alex is dedicated to delivering high-quality designs that help create exceptional spaces for people to enjoy and experience. With over 20 years of industry experience, he excels at simplifying complex structural challenges, enabling others to fully leverage their creative potential. After recently completing the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme with Oxford University, Alex’s enhanced business knowledge and entrepreneurial skills are driving growth and diversification at Jensen Hunt Design.

Tim feels equally at home undertaking the redevelopment of a Grade I Listed Hawksmoor church for the London Symphony Orchestra as he does designing timber-framed workshops suspended in a woodland canopy or balancing a sculpture on the roof of a boutique hotel. Not only is he a man of many talents, Tim brings a calm, collaborative approach to every project, grounded in his deep engineering knowledge.

Siún is a highly creative engineer, and with a background in architecture, she is as comfortable drawing as she is running projects. She has impeccable project management and delivery skills, and is the most organised person in the office! The team love working with her due to her calm and measured approach, and clients keep coming back thanks to her attention to detail and understanding of the overall design vision for each project she works on.

Whether it’s a client, architect or one of us, everybody wants to work with Matt. His incredible attention to detail, ability to co-ordinate and develop the right solutions to the right problems is central to winning work and maintaining existing relationships. Matt was employee number one and has applied his skills across a number of high end residential, commercial and education projects. He is also brilliant at making stuff – you should see his shed!

As our Business Development & Marketing Manager, Hope brings a fresh and creative energy to the team. Originally from Canada, she relocated to London in 2018 to embark on her journey in the engineering industry. With experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Hope has seamlessly transitioned into the world of Structural Engineering. Her passion for events and building meaningful relationships is evident— so, be sure to look out for her on social media and at upcoming events!
